The Spanish Class

Your Spanish classes will take place at the Anders Languages residence. You will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together with the instructors and the other student/guests. Spanish classes are one-on-one, or if you come with your partner or friend, two-on-one.

Golf

Use your Spanish in a natural, informal way, outside a classroom environment. Please note that your Spanish instructors will not play golf, they will simply accompany you on the golf course. You are free to explain them the secrets of the game and let them try a swing!

Four excellent golf courses are offered:

• Club de Golf de Cuernavaca. A nice, quiet golf course nearby the Anders Languages residence.

• Lomas de Cocoyoc. A hilly championship course offering beautiful views of the valley.

• Hacienda de San Gaspar. A very nice Joe Finger-designed course with some incredibly scenic views.

• Tabachines Golf Club. Probably the nicest golf club in Cuernavaca, in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of the city.

Daytime schedule:

• Monday. Spanish class all day since the majority of the golf courses are closed on Mondays.

• Tuesday. Spanish class in the morning and golf with your Spanish instructor at the Cuernavaca Golf Club in the afternoon.

• Wednesday. After breakfast with your instructor and the other guests, you'll visit the Lomas de Cocoyoc or Colinas de Sante Fé Golf Club to play golf all day. These courses are about a one hour drive from Cuernavaca, that's why it’s a daylong outing.

• Thursday. Spanish class in the morning and golf in the afternoon at Tabachines Golf Club.

• Friday. Spanish class in the morning. On Friday afternoons and weekends, you will have plenty of time to explore Cuernavaca and its surroundings, such as the pyramids of Teotihuacán or the colonial silver town of Taxco. You can visit these places on your own or with a licensed guide.

The daytime schedule above is for our "combined program" for one or two participants.

The Weekend

If you’d like, you can register for extra Spanish classes on Saturday morning or play golf at one of the 7 golf courses in the State of Morelos. Additionally Cuernavaca and its surroundings offer plenty of attractions to explore. Just ask us for more information.

The Packages

COMBINED PROGRAM

This package combines Spanish courses with playing golf with your Spanish instructor. The package is available for one or two people.

PARTNERS PROGRAM

This package is especially designed for couples or friends who want to visit Cuernavaca together but who have different interests. While one of the guests studies Spanish at Anders Languages, the other will play golf daily in one of the 4 courses in and nearby Cuernavaca. This package includes 45 hours of Spanish per week for one guest and 4 days of golf for the other guest with accommodation at the Anders Languages Residence.
