Relocation Services ry. The redesign we were asked to create involved launching a series of theme nights. From Monday to Thursday, they wanted to break down each night into a theme and present programs that were consistent with that theme. The programming was divided into '20th Century Mondays,' 'Ancient History Tuesdays,' 'Canadian History Wednesdays' and 'History of War Thursdays.' By creating theme nights, History Television could create events based around those themes and offer documentaries and films targeted toward those themes which allowed viewers to select programs based on their specific interests. It was our task to come up with a way to identify those theme nights and to maintain consistency Relocation Services with the on-air look between each day. We wanted to find a way to show multiple sources of historical footage in a dynamic way. We created a virtual space: a cylindrical theater with cofferred walls that would be constant for each night, while the footage displayed inside it would change. We wanted to locate the clips in an environment that was not exactly defined. Because the Relocation Services cylinder was a curved shape that wrapped around the screen, there were no perspective cues to allow its depth to be clearly perceived. The cylinder we created.
