Our team
All ANDERS LANGUAGES® instructors have two things in common: they are experts in their field and will keep you motivated throughout the course!
Some instructors have an educational background and will take care of the technical and formal aspects of your Spanish language training: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation...
Other instructors have a business or cultural background and will take care of the activities and informal aspects of the Spanish language.
Their experience in different aspects of life will allow you to discuss social, business, legal or political topics in Spanish, while practicing your listening and speaking skills in an "out of the classroom" environment.
While we still have senior instructors working with us since our starting days (1998), we have started welcoming our next generation of instructors, experienced millennials with a new and fresh approach towards language learning.
Gina
Instructor & Manager, Spain ResidenceGina has been part of our team since our beginning in 1998. She holds a BA in Education (Universidad Pedagógica Nacional) and an MA in Accelerated Educational Techniques (Tec de Monterrey). Gina has dual citizenship, thus allowing her to teach Spanish at the ANDERS LANGUAGES® residences in Mexico and Spain
Gloria
InstructorGloria holds a BA in Humanities from the Universidad Pablo de Olavide (Seville), an MA in Applied Linguistics for Spanish Language Learners from the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija (Madrid), and post-graduate studies in Intercultural Awareness. Gloria teaches at ANDERS LANGUAGES® Spain and speaks Spanish, Italian and English.
Rocio
InstructorRocío, has been teaching since 2004. She graduated with a degree in Hispanic Philology, initiating a lifelong passion for the dissemination of the Spanish language. Beyond the confines of academia, she finds solace and fulfillment in horticultural pursuits, pet care, and sporting activities. She lived several years in Argentina before returning to her native Sevilla
Julia
InstructorShe brings a unique blend of professional experience and passion to her role as a language instructor. Following the completion of her degree in Business Administration and Management, she pursued a 16-year career with a multinational corporation. It was through this journey that she discovered her true vocation: teaching and training. In her leisure time, she engages in literary pursuits, such as writing and reading, and enjoys musical entertainment.

Instructor & Managar Mexico residenceHe obtained a law degree in his native Peru, but after practicing for several years, he decided to shift his focus to music and applied linguistics. In addition, he holds an MA in Translation from Universidad Internacional and is committed to perfecting his English language skills. Raul teaches at the ANDERS LANGUAGES® Mexico residence, where he also oversees the daily operation…

Instructoris part of the millennial generation and has a degree in linguistics from Universidad Internacional (Mexico). He lived in Europe for several years, which taught him about different cultures and how people learn languages in different places. Trilingual in Spanish, English, and French, he brings a global perspective to the classroom.
Olga
Housekeeper & cook Spain residenceOlga is our dedicated housekeeper and cook. She takes pride in creating a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment while also preparing nutritious, delicious meals tailored to individual preferences and dietary needs. Olga is also a passionate singer and Flamenco dancer
Edwin
InstructorEdwin studied Spanish and Spanish Literature at the University of Antioquia, Medellín, in his native Colombia. He moved to Spain in 2009 and became a Spanish citizen a few years later. He is our specialist in the art of teaching. He has been teaching Spanish at Anders Languages since 2015.
Esther
InstructorAlthough Esther studied Business Administration, she became a Spanish teacher a long time ago. After years of training and experience as a Spanish teacher, she joined ANDERS LANGUAGES® MEXICO in 2003. She's an excellent teacher and a great cook. She also guides guests who want to combine their Spanish learning with other activities
Omar
InstructorAfter receiving his master's degree in Spanish linguistics in 2015 from UI, he started his career at his alma mater as a teacher and coordinator of the university's international exchange program. Omar loves music and is an avid hiker.
Norma & Guilermina
Housekeeper & cook Mexico residenceNorma (on the left) is our cook and housekeeper. Guillermina (on the right) is our cleaning lady. Both will make sure that everything at the immersion residence runs smoothly during your stay
Jerson
InstructorLinguist (UI Cuernavaca), musician, and traveler In addition to his native Spanish, he speaks English and is currently studying German. Jerson volunteers in small local communities with educational programs and is the founder of "Senderos y Sentires" to help preserve the ecosystem of Morelos
Rosaura
InstructorBorn in the nineties, Rosaura is another member of our millennial team. She has a degree in linguistics and a masters’ degree in Spanish as a Second Language. Before returning to her native Mexico and joining our team, Rosaura worked in Costa Rica for a few years. She is passionate about crocheting, sewing and art.
Isabel
InstructorShe holds a degree in Translation and Interpreting, as well as a master's in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, both completed in Seville. In her free time, she enjoys playing racket sports, her favorite way to stay active and unwind. She's also passionate about cinema, and for her, there's nothing better than coming home after training to relax and watch the latest episode of a series she's hooked on
Hermelinda (RIP)
Cook Mexico residenceAlthough Hermelinda passed away a few years ago, we remember her with love. She was with us since the very beginning, and she was an integral part of making our guests feel at home at our immersion residence in Mexico. She is the heart and soul of Anders Languages!
